About Us
Animal Protection Association's purpose is to rescue and find loving, permanent homes for stray and abandoned animals. We work to educate our community on the importance of spay/neuter programs and animal cruelty prevention.
APA is a no-kill shelter.
In the past 10 years, APA has rescued and adopted over 2,500 animals in Southern Indiana and Louisville, including dogs, cats, birds and rabbits.
